What you need to know about Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) audits.
An audit is a systematic, documented process of objectively collecting and evaluating factual information in order to verify a site or organization’s environmental, health or safety status with respect to specific, predetermined criteria.
PIM’s audits encompass both compliance audits, which are directed at verifying a site or organization’s conformance with regulatory requirements, and management system audits, which evaluate the effectiveness of management systems in ensuring compliance.
Regularly scheduled audits provide management with an effective and affordable means to ensure regulatory compliance.
