PIM is active in spreading the word about print to kids all over the Midwest. This past year we covered schools in Minnesota and now that we have merged with the Midlands, we will spread the word about print all over the Midwest. PIM is active with Achieve Mpls, sits on Advisory Councils, participates with Education Minnesota, actively involved in career fairs at high schools and much more!
PIM uses a DVD, "Careers in Print", which features Advanced Web, GLS Company and Japs Olson. PIM also promotes Print using a great informational brochure that was printed by Maximum Graphics to show opportunities in Print.
PIM can always use help with “fun” handouts to give away as prizes or at career fairs. We can always use help in producing new materials as well as more production (printing, making more DVD’s) of old material, please let us know if your company would like to help.
If any PIM member is interested in talking to a group at your local high school or participating in a career fair and looking for information to hand out, contact Kris Davis she can help you with information to take! |
Contact Kris Davis, Director of Education, at 651/789-5508 for more details. |
